Star 82 Review Winter Issue 4.4 is LIVE!

The sixteenth issue of the online and print magazine I edit, Star 82 Review (also known as *82 Review), is now available! This time we find people in groups and people alone, needing the company, but also wanting solitude. We have a photo by Robert Del Tredici of a young boy interacting with a sculpture in Chicago, and an erasure poem I did layered with a photo of a similar sculpture by the same artist and other images from Nashville, TN, when I was at the College Book Art Conference last year. New to the pages are photos from William Mark Sommer, whose images of urban solitude we saw at the SF Zine Fest in September. We are also fortunate to feature a photo of one of the last linoleum cut prints by Ken Rignall, a printmaking teacher of mine at CCA(C), a man we called "Uncle Ken." All these are in addition to darlene anita scott and Toti O'Brien's collages, and the heartfelt stories, poems, and art with strong emotional cores by a wonderful group of artists and writers.
